Making sure my advice whether personal or other, resonates and becomes something they apply to their everyday. I understand the power of how confident one can become once they indulge in taking care of themselves. To some it may seem vain, but the power of the mind speaks for itself. A new outfit typically leaves everyone feeling like a new person, able to tackle the day head on. My life hasn't been easy but overcoming obstacles and my love of fashion is what inspired my life journey and this brand."

Born and raised in Brooklyn: Home of ambitious young professionals and trendsetters, her creativity sparked from an early age. Whether in art classes, performing ballet, playing the clarinet, or watching her mother and grandmother create patterns to sew her performance dresses, creativity has inspired her life in the most valuable ways.
With a Caribbean family full of nurses, she never felt like she could fully relate to the people closest to her. Forced to study medicine after graduating High School, she attended college for nursing and got certified as a phlebotomist. While working in that field, she realized she was living to please her family rather than herself. She decided to quit nursing school, and started working in a local club doing bottle service to earn money while re-evaluating her life goals and purpose, realizing that her love of fashion, blogging on tumblr and styling, along with her intuitive creative nature would lead her down a different path - her path.
She left home to pursue her dream. No longer supported by her family, she worked full time while enrolling as a full-time student at Buffalo State University in their renowned fashion program, meeting amazing people along the way. She got a tattoo in French that read C’est La Vie à La Mode a phrase she created to mean Such is the fashion of life/ Such is the Fashionable Life and continued her fashion lifestyle blog on tumblr while also styling and shopping for her friends for college events and road trips. Doing this she realized how much she enjoyed living for herself and how confident she became.
After 5 years, she graduated with a bachelors of science degree in Fashion & Textile Technology and is currently working in the retail industry as an Assistant Buyer while continuously building the brand she created.
